My name is Tayla and I’m a qualified vet nurse (NZ Dip. VN) with 6 years of clinical experience. I’m providing pet health care, anywhere! 
 
My mission is to bring wellness to all pets through preventative care and education, all from the comfort of your own home.
 
My main priority during visits is the comfort of your pet. I am compassionate, patient and trustworthy – you can be sure your pet will be treated as my own.

Grooming

I offer basic grooming such as removing matts/dags, de-shedding, removing undercoat, lion clip, sanitary clips. I specialise in cats since there are many fantastic dog groomers about, however I’m here if you only need a couple of dags or matts removed from your pup.

Wellness Check

Regular wellness checks essential in preventative care because we can catch  things in their early stages, such as; infections, arthritis, lumps, and weight issues just to name a few. If there are any concerns, we can make a care plan together with your veterinarian.

Microchip

Collars and tags alone are not effective at identifying your pet as these are easily removed or lost by your pet. A microchip gives your pet the best chance of being reunited with you if they become lost or stolen. Price includes NZCAR national database registration.

Nail Trim

Keep your pets nails fresh with regular nail trims. This is usually a stressful time at the vet, but as I gain your pet’s trust, you won’t believe how easy it can be. I use nail clippers and/or a dremel depending on what your pet prefers/tolerates most.

Tayla came to our home today to groom our beardie Elke. As a scruffy, long haired dog Elke can get a bit knotty and messy, and she’s also a bit fearful. Tayla provided an amazing service and was caring and gentle with Elke, while doing a great job of clipping, brushing and nail trimming. So great to be able to have a service like this at home, particularly for dogs who are a bit scared of the big, wide world.

Fantastic service! If your pet doesn’t like to travel or gets nervous at the vets this service is an answer to your prayers. Our house lion was weighed, brushed, teeth and ears checked, nails clipped and given a general wof all in the comfort of his own home. Aside from the occasional growl and death glare it was nothing a cat treat didn’t cure. Fully recommend!
